FAQ
Fair questions
Where do the clicks come from?
We run short ad campaigns in front of readers browsing books in your genre. Every click is a real person choosing your cover over the scroll.
Where do the ads run?
On Meta, the same network authors already use to sell books. Your covers appear as normal book ads to readers who match your genre.
Do readers know they are in a test?
No. They see a normal book ad and click or keep scrolling, the same way they will on launch day. That is what keeps the numbers honest.
How long does a test take?
Most tests finish inside 72 hours. You get an email the moment a winner is clear.
How many people see the covers?
Delivery varies by genre, audience, and ad-auction conditions. Your report shows the actual impressions and clicks for each cover rather than promising a fixed sample size.
What do I get at the end?
Delivery, clicks, click-through rate for each cover, and whether the observed difference supports a clear lead or an inconclusive result.
What does it cost?
$179 per test, and all of the ad spend is included. No subscription, nothing else to buy.
What if neither cover wins?
A tie is an answer too: either cover can carry the book. You still get both clickthrough rates and how confident we are in the result.
I write under a pen name. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Readers only ever see the covers, and we never publish your results.
My book is not out yet. Can I still test?
Yes. Before launch is the best time, while the cover can still change.
